Dato' Kamarul Bahrin Abbas is a Malaysian politician and is currently the Member of the Parliament of Malaysia for the Telok Kemang constituency in the State of Negeri Sembilan. He is a member of the Keadilan party in the Pakatan Rakyat opposition coalition.

Kamarul was elected to Parliament in the 2008 election winning the seat of Telok Kemang. In doing so he unseated the incumbent member Sothinathan Sinna Gounder from the governing Barisan Nasional coalition.[1][2]

In November 2008, Kamarul was photographed by The Star smoking in the lobby of Parliament, which was claimed by The Star to be in breach of a smoking ban.[3]
